Week 5 - Effective Power Point Presentation

Assalamualaikum.

In week 5, Dr. Rozina taught us about the effective of Power Point presentation. We have learned the methods in making effective Power Point presentation. Throughout the lesson, we got to know various kinds of techniques in making the slides more interesting and engaging for the audience; either to make them focus on the slides or even to deliberately shift their interest to the slides rather than on us, the presenters! 

Basically, there are five important points which have been emphasized in Victor Chen’s slide in designing effective Power Point presentation. They are Big, Consistent, Clear, Progressive and Simple. All in all, we were informed on a lot of things like the suitable size of the font, types of fonts, the distance which should be considered, and the suitable time to use colored fonts, how many words should be on a slide, how to design good graph and chart and many others.

All of these will obviously help us a lot insyaAllah, not only during our study, but also in future, while in working world. Presenting a well- structured slide to big bosses and gaining their interest and attention on our ideas will surely aid us a lot in our working place. Reflection

Creativity is needed in learning in order to make it more interesting and attractive. Albert Einstein once said, "Creativity is intelligence having fun.". 

Allah SWT as The Creator of this universe also create man from many kinds; different skin colors, different faces, differences personalities. Even though Allah SWT create man different from one another, we are all treated the same by Allah regardless of our religion and family backgrounds. As Allah SWT mentioned in Surah Al-Isra' verse 70,

In the verse, Allah SWT told us to respect and honor all human kinds regardless of their religion, race, skin colors, sex, language, status, property and many more. Human is an exquisite example of God's creativity. Siblings and even twins have their own personalities and that what makes all of us unique and special in our own ways.
